Three from One (2)

There's a brilliant and densely linked post about Italo Calvino on MetaFilter. Calvino's Invisible Cities has been a source of inspiration for a number of MSc Virtual Environments projects here at the Bartlett, such as these C++ projects from 2003.

Elsewhere on Metafilter, a post about Jared Tarbell's Substrate sends a finder's acknowledgement in our direction, which is nice, and this post links to the beautiful and hugely impressive Spore at Image Savant.

For All Seasons

From the new and entertaining hi-res! feed, For All Seasons by Andreas Müller is now available for Mac and Windows. It's a beautiful text-based piece, simulating dandelions, fish, whirlwinds and snow. Very nicely done.

An experimental weblog by the staff, students and alumni of the MSc Adaptive Architecture & Computation at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, University College London.
